The family of PS3 Ronald A. Gill Jr. unveiled a granite bench in his memory at Station Point Judith, R.I. May 30, 2008.
The bench, funded solely through donations, is located on the station’s expansive lawn and faces out to sea. Gill, a Cranston, R.I. native and reservist with MSST 91111, died in the line of duty during a security patrol in Puget Sound, Wash. March 25, 2007.
The bench’s inscription reads: “Think not upon my passing, but remember the glory of my spirit.”
